2015 Egocentrism, Hong Kong Center for Visual Arts

“Egocentrism” is an exhibition held at the Center for Visual Arts in Hong Kong in 2015 that explores the multiple levels of egocentrism in contemporary society. The exhibition brings together the works of a number of artists, presenting the contradictions and dialogues between the individual and society, virtual and reality through visual art. The works include images, installations, drawings and other forms that challenge the viewer’s perceptions of self, others and the world, and elicit deep reflections on the lifestyle and psychological state of modern people. This exhibition is not only an artistic interpretation of self-awareness, but also prompts viewers to think about alienation and connectedness in modern society.
