In 2024, the National Gallery of Vietnam held the Vietnam-Hong Kong Art Exhibition, which aims to showcase the creative essence of Vietnamese and Hong Kong artists and promote cultural exchanges between the two places. Several officials and Vietnamese artists attended the opening day, including Mr. Fan Zhen. Hanoi TV reported on the exhibition, providing an in-depth introduction to the theme of the exhibition, the participating artists and their works, and the importance of promoting cultural exchanges between Vietnam and Hong Kong.

In an exclusive interview with Vietnamese media, Fan Zhen briefly described the creative philosophy of Evolution and shared his original intention of participating in the charity auction, hoping to contribute to the public welfare through art and support traffic safety and charity with action.

On November 3, 2024, Hong Kong artist Fan Zhen’s painting Evolution (belonging to the Confinement series) was successfully auctioned for $25,000 at the Joint Action to Ensure Traffic Safety Foundation golf charity dinner held in Ninh Binh, Vietnam. Fan Zhen is a well-known contemporary Hong Kong artist whose works are influenced by Zen thought and embody the "all dharmas are like illusions and dreams" in the Vajra Sutra. Inspired by Michelangelo’s The Last Judgment and “God gave life to Adam,” the painting combines elements of heaven, earth and human civilization to express the theme of the evolution of life.

At the invitation of the Hong Kong Oil Painting Research Society, Fan Zhen exhibited the oil painting "Flowers" at the Hong Kong Oil Painting Research Society Invitational Exhibition 2024, which blends the brushstrokes and composition techniques of Eastern ink painting with the color and texture techniques of Western oil painting. Cleverly, the oriental artistic conception and rhyme lead the image of Chinese Ming ladies, integrating the elegant charm of classical Chinese painting and the three-dimensional sense of characters in Western oil painting, injecting new vitality into oil painting and embodying deep knowledge in the field of oil painting art.

Organized by the Hong Kong International Young Artists Association, Fan Zhen participated and worked with other artists to delve into the close relationship between the artwork and its value, understand the story behind the artwork and its impact on society, culture and economy. Provide experience and inspiration for future creations.

In 2023, Fan Zhen’s work “Right and Soft” was successfully auctioned at Sotheby’s Greater China Auction Department for Chinese Calligraphy and Painting. The characteristic of this work is that it transcends the spiritual world of material limitations and demonstrates Mr. Fan Zhen's unique artistic perspective and technique. This is an achievement worthy of celebration. This successful auction is a recognition of Fan Zhen’s creative talent.
